Start your journey with the MTG's newest set: The Hobbit! A week before the set is released, you can come down to Dice Addiction to crack open some packs, build a deck, and try out all the exciting new cards and mechanics in a friendly, informal tournament. Prerelease events are your first chance to play with a set, and Prerelease Packs get you in on the game! Every player will receive a sealed prerelease kit, which contains six Play Boosters, a foil promo card, a themed Deck Box, a Spindown life counter, and four exclusive full-art seasonal Hobbit basic lands. From those packs and promo cards within the prerelease kit, you will make a 40-card any-color deck. There will be one event on Friday, August 7th @7:00PM, and another on Sunday, August 9th @1:00PM. Preregistration will open on August 1st- stop by the store! Build time will be 40 minutes, with 3 40-minute rounds afterwards. Top players for the night will receive extra packs as prize support, but everyone will receive at least 1 pack each upon completing the event. The price of this event will be $45 per person.
