As the pokemon season comes to a close, the time has come for our Mid-Year TCG celebration event! On Sunday, July 19th, We will be having a learn-to-play day! If you or anyone you know were looking to get into the game- this event is a great time to try it out! between 12:00PM and 3:00PM, We will have staff available on site for demos, testing, deckbuilding, and general pokemon TCG knowledge! At 3:00PM, we will be having a Beginners' friendly standard tournament. What this means is, judge calls will be forgiving and educational first and foremost, rather than disciplinary. We will be using the standard Pokemon TCG format, using only cards marked with "H", "I", and "J" in the bottom left corner. The price of entry for the tournament will be $0. Each round will be 30 minutes long, and overtime will be 10 minutes- consisting of a maximum of 3 additional turns after time is called. Pokemon has also provided us with three playmats for this event depicting the three starters from Pokemon: Legends ZA! The winner will receive one of the playmats, and the other two will be randomly awarded to two other players!
