Official Takara Tomy Regulations (Regulations PDF)

This format follows the official Takara Tomy regulations with the exception of the following changes and additions:

No Contact = 1 Reshoot per Match: During a match, the first battle that ends with No Contact is replayed with no points awarded to either player, any No Contact Battles after the 1st will award the beyblade thats still spinning and/or in the stadium, 1 point, then the battle will be replayed.

First to 7: The first player to earn 7 points wins the match.

Side Change: After every battle the stadium will rotate 180 degrees.

3rd Party Grips Allowed: Players may use 3rd party handle grips that do not affect the performance of their beyblades or launchers but, 3rd party Beyblades, Parts, Launchers, and Ripcords, are prohibited.

Two Stage Round Robin or Swiss to Single Elimination Structure:

The first or Group Stage of the tournament may be ran as a Round Robin or Swiss Tournament.

Top players from the Group Stage will move on to the second and Final Stage, a single elimination bracket.

Point Based Tie Breakers:

While Wins matter most in the event, players that tie will have their ties broken using point-based tie breakers.

Points Difference:

The amount of points a players has earned minus the number of points they've given up to their opponents over the course of the Group Stage.

This tie breaker is able to accurately determine players skill level by measuring how many points they earn without allowing their opponents to score points against them.

Points Earned:

The total points a player earned during the Group Stage of the tournament.

FORMAT: 3-on-3

  • Players will build a team of three beyblades with no repeating parts.

  • At the beginning of the match players will randomly determine what side of the stadium they will start on.

  • Both Players will reveal their beyblades to each other for bey-check, to ensure that no repeating parts are being used.

  • Both Players will then secretly choose the order their beyblades will battle in and arrange them in order as 1st, 2nd, and 3rd bey.

  • After each battle where points are scored both players move on to their next beyblade.

  • After every 3rd battle both players may choose a new order for their beyblades.

PRIZE SUPPORT:

Store Credit for top players, based on the number of entries.
